The purpose of our bible training school is to teach, train and equip young men and women as missionaries and leaders regardless of color, language, and race. " Truly the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few." Through these missionaries the ministry has expanded to areas where Christian work had not yet reached and new churches were established, even in leper colonies.
Bible training school
Training these nationals are very important because they can go back to their own state or cast and preach the good news. Currently, we have 2 Bible training schools to teach, train, equip and to send workers to the field. Harvest India Bible Institute (HIBI) opened in Delhi on 16th of September 2002. Calvary School of Harvest started in Punjab on 2005. We want to train them for the Northern Indian mission field where there is much adversity in preaching the gospel and to teach them biblical truths as is, so that they can be good teachers of the Word of God
Purpose
The purpose of our Bible training school is to teach, train and equip young men as missionaries and leaders regardless of color, language, and race. " Truly the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few."
Program
Currently, our program is designed to train missionaries, Pastors and Teachers in India. Students will have active practical training along with classroom studies.
In the Classroom
We provide an opportunity for students to learn the Word of God. We help them to interpret the truth in a simple way to reach the people of North India, at the same time keeping a strong stand for Biblical truths.
Practical Activities
Every week each student will have the opportunity to actually go out and evangelize. Their outreach activities will include hospital visitation, literature distribution and house-to-house visitations. Church planting and helping local churches in evangelism are other ministries in which the students will be actively involved.
Vision
Our vision is to reach souls in every village, language and people group in North India with the gospel by sending out more missionaries through our Bible schools and extending God's eternal kingdom.
There are many exciting testimonies, how the Lord has been using these young men for the ministry in the unreached areas.
The Lord guided Sunil, one of FGC's new missionaries, to serve in a village located in the Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh after finishing his studies at the Calvary School of Harvest in Punjab. This village is known for all sorts of notorious activities. Most gang members in the city are from this particular village. God's love immediately began flowing here. Many families felt the Lord's presence and have since become part of the family of Christ. Originally, Sunil came from a Hindu family but through one of our missionaries he accepted Christ. He decided to prepare for full time ministry by attending our Bible school and then return to share the Gospel with the people of his own village.
